My children love Simply GoGurt! A package lasts about a day in my house. My older children have to be quick to get any at all with my 7 year old around. And, as a mom, I’m happy to see them loving such a healthy snack as yogurt. New Simply… Go-Gurt is made from simple ingredients moms look for and contains no high fructose corn syrup or artificial colors or flavors. Each convenient portable yogurt tube contains a good source of calcium and vitamin D. Simply stated, Simply… Go-Gurt is a good-for-you, low fat yogurt snack that I can feel good about giving to my kids. New Simply… Go-Gurt is available in two kid-friendly flavors, Strawberry and Mixed Berry.

My sons are clueless about some of the healthy stuff I sneak into their food. A few veggies in the spaghetti sauce, whole grain crackers and low-fat cheese, reduced-fat ice cream…they can’t tell the difference! They also think fruit and yogurt smoothies are WAY better than the chocolate shakes they used to ask for.
I’ve learned that my kids only like things certain ways, so I buy what I know they will eat. Therefore, we get gogurt and yogurt smoothies instead of regular, chocolate covered raisins as “candy”, and baby carrots instead of regular (with lowfat ranch for some!). They’re much more likely to eat the healthy stuff, and the few extra cents it sometimes costs is worth it since they eat healthier and the food isn’t wasted.
Not sure if this is considered wholesome snack tips or not, but I buy snack bags and snacks like dried fruit, chex mix cheeses, veggies, etc and when I get home from the store I put them in the individual bags and into the fridge. There are certain things the kids know they can eat at any time. And the ones they are allowed to get themselves they ask for. Saves a lot of time so I dont have to portion it out every time. Works good for me!
My husband, my kids and I all all eat yogurt every day! I freeze the yogurt and put in my daughter’s lunch box for her snack time. She loves that! We also make smoothies for snacks at home. First we start with the yogurt, four ice cubes, add fruit of choice, and a little milk or juice to blend. We have a smoothie every day! It is so refreshing and delicious!

My kids love to make mini-burgers with Cheerio buns and a raisin sandwiched in the middle.
