Working at New Home

We have been in our new house for a little over a week now. All the boxes are unpacked and it’s starting to feel like home. It’s a two story townhouse, and having stairs is a new experience for us. I’ve become very good at making sure that I have everything I need on whatever floor I’m on, so I don’t have to run up and down the stairs too many times a day. The area we live in is right in the middle of our city, but it’s tucked away, with lots of lakes and woods filled with ducks, fish, and even alligators. In fact, the lake right by our community pool and clubhouse has this sign posted next to it –

So far we haven’t seen any ‘gators, much to the disappointment of my boys, who scan the lake’s surface everytime we head to the pool. Just another day in “paradise,” Florida style.
